Christopher J. Corzo was born and raised in Houma, Louisiana.  After graduating from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette in 2000 with a degree in Marketing and Legal Studies and thereafter Louisiana State University, Paul M. Hebert Law Center with Juris Doctor and Bachelor of Civil Law degrees, he worked for LeBlanc & Waddell practicing mass tort litigation and representing hundreds of union workers, including laborers, pipefitters, welders, and other industrial employees against big business and insurance companies.

Since joining the McKernan Law Firm in 2008, he has taken these mass tort principles that he learned in fighting huge companies such as Exxon Mobile, Shell Global, and Texaco  and applied them to the more general personal injury arena.  He has handled a variety of personal injury claims, including automobile accident cases and trucking or 18-wheeler accidents in multiple jurisdictions such as New Orleans, Baton Rouge, Houma, Gretna, Chalmette, Lafayette, Lake Charles, Monroe, Alexandria, Opelousas, and Shreveport.  A few of the personal injury claims that he has represented in the McKernan Law Firm have been serious spinal injuries, traumatic head injuries, fractures, torn ligaments, back injuries and more.

Mr. Corzo is actively involved in the community and is a member of the Louisiana Association for Justice, a preeminent organization created to promote justice for the workplace, seek fairness in the courts for the aggrieved and injured, and uphold honor and dignity of the civil justice system and the legal profession.
