Judy St. Martin vs. River Parishes Hospital
A medical malpractice case against a hospital which should not have taken x-rays of a young woman who was three weeks pregnant at the time. Her baby was born with a tumor against the brain, and although successfully removed, the case was settled against the hospital by way of a structured settlement, for a present value of approximately $1,000,000.00.
