Gordon McKernan of Gordon McKernan Injury Lawyers is attempting to do more than just recover money for his clients. In a booklet he has written called 'Who is Your Lawyer?' Gordon tries to show that we all need representation from a higher source. Although the title would lead you to believe that it is a legal book, in actuality it deals with issues of theology and eternity.

The booklet starts by immediately letting the reader know that he or she will die as a result of a crime (sin). And if you are facing a crime punishable by death, wouldn't you need a lawyer. The booklet then turns to an imaginary trial of Gordon as a defendant, before the Judge (God) and Gordon is represented by the Ultimate Lawyer (Jesus). It is a message of hope, love and salvation.

Gordon is a devout Christian, husband and father. While the practice of law is a passion of his, it is not his primary purpose or motivation. The desire to point his clients to Jesus Christ, as the Ultimate Advocate, is what motivates McKernan. In addition to this free booklet, the firm gives away Bibles with every settlement and also provides Christian based Christmas and Easter books.
