Uninsured Motorist/Underinsured Motorist (UM/UIM)
When you are injured in a car accident, the other driver is responsible for medical care and lost earnings, plus compensation for pain and suffering, disability and other noneconomic damages. Sometimes your own insurance may compensate you.
