Chet Boudreaux, originally from Lafayette, Louisiana and who graduated from St. Thomas More Catholic High School in 1994 then went on to obtain his Bachelor of Science from the University of Southwestern Louisiana. In 2003, he received his law degree from the Southern University where he graduated Magna Cum Laude and obtained the Corporations Scholarship award. Chet joined McKernan Law Firm as a law clerk in 2001 where he became an Associate after passing the Bar. He is licensed to practice in both State and Federal courts in Louisiana and Mississippi and he is also admitted into the Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals, which has afforded him the ability to assist numerous everyday' individuals in a wide variety of cases such as trucking accidents, automobile wrecks, 18-wheeler accidents, vehicle rollovers and many more. In all cases, the injuries resulted from the negligence of another. Some examples of the types of injuries that Chet has represented are spinal cord injuries, disk damage, burns, cancer (mesothelioma), paralysis and many more. Chet has represented clients all over the state of Louisiana including areas such as Lafayette, Lake Charles, Monroe, Shreveport, Plaquemine, Metairie and Prairieville; as well as in areas of Mississippi such as Hattiesburg, Jackson, and Gulfport to name a few. Chet has handled cases in Texas and in New Jersey as well. Chet has been admitted pro hac in courts in Arkansas, Florida and Texas. A few of Chet's most notable cases include a verdict of $2,855,000 in a custom bus wrongful death case, verdict of $1.2 Million in a rear-end 18-wheeler accident and just recently settled two eighteen wheeler cases for $950,000 and $875,000 respectively.
Chet is married to Shanna Green of Rayville, Louisiana, and they have two children, Grayson, age 6 and Anna Grace, age 1. They are members of St. Jude Catholic Church. Chet enjoys hunting, fishing, horse racing and coaching t-ball for his son.
