Giovanni Levi vs. SLEMCO

An employee of an oil company suffered severe electrical shock when a gen pole came in contact with high power lines. The injuries consisted of burns on 28% of the body as well as the loss of both legs below the knee.

The case was ultimately decided by the Supreme Court of Louisiana and the plaintiff received in settlement after the decision, the sum of $3,000,000.00.
